I have a friend that is on the fentanyl patch and she sometimes watches my 3 month old baby. my question is could it cause harm to my baby in any way from just touching her skin./have been very worried about it. I've never read any warnings about it being a problem, but you may want to check with a doctor, or pharmacist to be certain.
Most of the warnings just state that the patch should be kept away from children and they shouldn't be allowed to handle it and play with it.

In most cases, once a medication is absorbed, very little actually expels back out of the body through the skin.
