Based on your description, I think you might be referring to Terpin Hydrate w/codeine. Terpin hydrate is an expectorant, commonly used in the treatment of acute and chronic bronchitis as well as other upper respiratory tract conditions. However, it is commonly formulated with an antitussive (e.g., codeine) as a combined preparation. I'm thinking perhaps it was most likely the codeine in it this preparation that helped alleviate those pain receptors in the intestines.

Yes, I checked that out...but codiene is etremely binding, Thanks for offering a possible match; maybe just the Terpin by itself will help...I really need to get booked with a Pain Specialist. My doc fancies himself one; but he just doesn't keep up on what is happening worldwide.
