Uncontrollable shaking of a part of your body, is listed as a side effect of Modalert (Modafinil), among a long list of other adverse effects.

You may wish to take a look at this side effect list to know what you may be dealing with here:
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0000196/#a602016-sideEffects

It sounds to me like the side effects are outweighing any possible benefits from taking the medication. Have you consulted a certified medical doctor about these unpleasant side effects? If not, I would strongly recommend that you do, or in other cases, simply try to taper off the medication slowly.

I hope this helps!
