Conceiving
UpdatedI have been on this birth control for six months. I stopped taking them a few weeks ago simply because i misplaced my new pack. Anyway, it has been about 3 weeks and no period. I had a drop or two on a tampon a week ago but that was it and i have had pretty painful cramps since stopping them as well. I have negative pregnancy tests and i havent had intercourse with my husband since a couple of days after stopping the pill. Obviously at this point if i were pregnant, a test would show positive by now. Before i start taking these pills again, does the lack of period mean i will have trouble conceiving when my husband and i decide to? Im concerned. This is the first birth control i have taken that didnt trigger a period after stopping. I got pregnant with my son two weeks after stopping seasonique six years ago and two months after stopping with my daughter three years ago. So this is all strange to me not having a normal cycle

Have you discussed your concerns with your doctor?
If you stop taking hormonal based contraceptives, symptoms such as what you are experiencing do usually occur, because your body got used to the addition of those hormones and it now has to learn to reregulate them on its own, so it's an adjustment period.

It shouldn't affect your future ability to conceive, as long as your body returns to normal, but you should discuss that with your doctor to be certain.
I can totally write your same post! We had sex the day I quit the pill and a couple days later, I had breakthrough bleeding a week and a half ago and still no period. Just curious what ended up happening? Did your period come yet?
HI , i was having irregular period. Doctor suggested Mensil N for getting periods as the pregnancy test was negative. I had the tablet for 3 days. After having that too i didnt get my periods almost 3 weeks over. Now the pregnancy test showing positive.
Whether is can have baby or not, will that tablet have the effect on the baby. Please suggest.
