Combination Of Xanax W/ Hydrocodone-safe? (Top voted first)

Plainly stated, opinions vary on the top 5 list of popular Rx's. Xanax alone will after a time become habit forming and difficult to stop. Hydrocodone alone has similar properties. Possibly the most abused combo out there. Clonazepam is safe, and does not have the synergistic sedation of hydrocodone and Xanax.

I'm sorry, but actually Clonazapem can cause the same types of issues with narcotics as Xanax, it is also a benzodiazepine, so it increases sedation, just like the rest of them do.

All of the medications you've mentioned are known to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, constipation, drowsiness and dry mouth.

I currently take hydrocodone 10/325 QID and only at night take xanax, I've taken .5 mg for a while, just went up to 1 mg. Is there a safe dose levels of combining these drugs. My current doctor is not wanting to give me xanax. Is there a safe level for taking this mix?
