Cold/flu Symptoms Common Reaction To Cephalexin?
UpdatedHello,
I've been taking cephalexin to treat an arm infection and I've had an itchy/runny nose, sneezing, and mild headaches since I started taking it. I don't see this as a side effect. Has anyone else had this response? It seems like a mild allergic reaction.

Hello, Raquel! How are you?
It's possible that you have just caught a cold or are having an allergy attack to something environmental. It would be very unusual for an oral antibiotic to manifest an allergy with those symptoms.
Have you consulted your doctor?
