Cognistar 60mg Injection
UpdatedMy inlaw who is 54years has been suffering from lung infection and breathing problem. She was under the treatment of a Pulmonologist. Six days before she was administered the tablets defcort 12 and Forecox along with her earlier prescription of the pulmonologist. After 8hours she suffered a severe cardiac arrest leading to brain damage and she was totally unconscious. Immediately she was shifted to a corporate hospital where initially she given CPR and was kept on ventilator for three days. What medication she given during these three days is unknown to us but her condition was worsening. The declared her as brain dead. But thereafter we shifted her to a charitable hospital where they started feeding her 200ml of milk every two hours and gave injuction Cognistar 60mg. Now her conscious is 6 points. She is self responding 50% respiratory function and 50% to ventilator. Her BP is 140/80. She is responding to stimulus on leg. Her lungs are partially functioning. Pulse rate is normal. I would be very much thankful if I could know how many percent possibility of her surviving. If so in how much time she may gain full conscious.
