I am taking codeine syrup taking 100 ml in a day. What are its side effects and how should I go about the withdrawal process?

The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation, it can also be habit forming.

Stopping should be done via a slow taper under your doctor's supervision. What is the dosage?
