Codeine And Hydrocodone On Drug Test (Top voted first)

Can they detect the difference between a Tylenol 3 and hydrocodone? I have a prescription for Tylenol 3 and ran out so I took a few hydrocodones. Just wanna know if they can't tell the difference in a drug test?

I have a perscription for Tylenol 4s and i have taken a few hydrocodone 10s. I have a drug test Monday with my po and need to know if both drugs will show up the same on the test, can they tell thd differance? Thanks

Can a doctor drug screen show if u took Tylenol 3 if ur only suppose to take hydrocodone

WRONG. Tylenol ( acetaminophen )
Contain's NO CODEINE AND IS AN OTC PREPERATION.HOWEVER TYLENOL #3 or TYLENOL #4 DO CONTAIN CODIENE 30 or 60 of codeine phosphate respectively.
Hydrocodone is an opioid and when tested for shows as that synthetic formulation. Codeine however is an opiate and returns a positive for opiate consistent within this drug classification.Hope that helps....

Yes it will show up cause tylenol has codiene in it..

So i need some advice i was seen at the dentist due to a broken tooth and a really bad tooth ended up having a root canal done on both of them he said that was the only way to save them and unfortunately i couldn't wait to go the pain was so bad so after they sent me home with tylenol 3s and at the time pain managnment hadn't called me yet but this morning i got a call from them and my appointment is 4days away from now! If i stop takeing them and drink plenty of water will i pass my drug test i really need this appointment to get my quality of life back! Can someone please help me

Ok just reciently I was fired from my job after takeing a drug test for a promotion. The morning of the drug test I was in the emergency room passing a kidney stone. The dr gave me Tylenol 3 with codine in liquid form. Well later that day I took my drug test and and I came out positive for hydrocodone. Apparently, the Tylenol Metabolized back into hydrocodone witch gave me a dirty drug test. This only happens in some people, I'm not saying it will happen to you but I am currently looking for a lawyer..

Does Tylenol with codeine and hydrocodone show up the same in a drug screen? I don't have insurance and the Dr gave me hydrocodone to get filled, but I have some Tylenol with codeine in my medicine cabinet.

im on perks will iget in trouble if i take tylenol2 ny docto lets me take over the counter tylenol 1 r they thesame as tylenol 2 t1 have 3mg codien 8 mg cafffien and acemetophine r t2 the same

Yes they can tell the difference..cause tylenol has codeine in it and hydrocodone does not have it.

I took a half Norco 10 this morning around 7 and I have a prescription for Tylenol 4 with codeine. Will this show up the same on a urine panel drug test or different? I have a random test in the morning.

My mom is prescribed hydrocodone and was coughing bad, so she took acetaminophen with codeine. However, she has to take a urine drug test and I am wondering if they will show up as the same thing?

Yes but in cheap iron drug tests just test if the opioid. Is present.. And codine.is a opioid..

Tylenol does NOT have codeine in it. Tylenol 3 and 4 which are prescription meds do have codeine in them.
