I started on Clonidine about 2 years ago for high blood pressure o.1. It was causing constipation,so I just quit taking it ,Within a week I started having bad headaches, so I went on line and realized my mistake. I went back on it and visited Dr, who told me to stay back on it. My problem is that I am experiencing some bad headchesf or the past two weeks. They come out of nowhere. At times I feel normal and hen it starts. Usually I have one a day or every other day. Please tell me if this is normal .especially as I have been back o the Clonidine for the past 2 weeks. Will it get better?

Headaches can be a normal side effect of this medication, as reported by the FDA, along with nausea, dizziness, somnolence, and hypotension.

However, such side effects are usually transient and tend to go away once your body gets used to the medication, but that could take 4 to 6 weeks.

Is there anything else I can help with?
