Clonidine And Sleep

My 6 year old has adhd and asd he usually takes clonidine to get to sleep at night and we ran out, what else can I give him he didn't go to sleep til 3:30am

I'd suggest getting in touch with his doctor for a refill, or to see what else would be safe to give him. Running out has probably caused a rebound effect, which resulted in him having insomnia.

Is on any other medications?

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and sedation.
