Clonazepam Urine Test - I Failed But Took My Med For Ms

Very worried. I have MS so I take several narcotic type meds. Klonopin is one. I take 2mg 3 times a day which is a large dose for good reason. Even with multiple sclerosis & other medical problems, I too get tested in pain management. I have no addiction history but I do feel bad for those who do & wish them well. I take my med as told to but took urine test today that said there was no klonopin in my system. They are now sending it out to one more lab but how can that not show up? If it comes back not showing, I am in big trouble but I took the med right & did nothing wrong. What can I do? Is my word against a test but I really take my meds yet is not showing on this test so can tests be wrong? Lady at office said if negative it mean you're not taking your med. That is a lie in my case because I am taking my med. I did not even like being told that because it is a lie flat out. If anyone can help me understand how this happened & what I can do now, I would appreciate it. I could get thrown out then it go on med record in bad way. Am 51 years old never did things wrong in these areas of life. Never used drugs & those of MS I take right way. Not a perfect person but on this I am really good about it.

I have had this happen to me with Morphine IR & Clonopin... My pain Dr was angry met with my primary and I searched and searched for an an answer and all I can find is that it does happen... Hopefully with the more in depth test it will show.. But still the dr acted like I was giving or selling my medication. I don't .. I need it. I told her at time I didn't take all of the breakthrough pain meds & 2 mg of Clonopin on days I had my granddaughter.. She was angry she made me come back in two weeks with a journal of what I took when and even still my levels were low but she was satisfied that it was metabolic
