This is a combination antibiotic containing Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid, commonly sold in the US under the name Augmentin.

Some of the most common side effects include: nausea, rash, diarrhea and drowsiness.

Hi! Just got quick question. on Monday was diagnosed with chest infection. Been taking Duomox 1g (amoxicillinum). went to the doctor again today and am supposed to take Clavamel (got 14 tabs to take over next 7 days twice a day). I have informed the doctor that I'm allergic to Augmentin however, just seen info that Clavamel is Augmentin! please advise me what to do. no chance to go back to the doctor before monday next week. Thank you
