Clavam 375 Is Used For

Dr. suggested this calvam 375 tablet for my daughter who is age 10. In a blood test we found her (W.B.C) is increased: 27100.
And it should be: 11000... Will this tablet help? Plz advise.

Yes, it may help and she should take it as directed by the doctor. It is an antibiotic and, in most cases, an elevated WBC is caused due to some type of bacterial infection, according to the NIH.

The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

Is she on any other medications? Has she been sick recently?
