Citalopram Vs Fluoxetine

What's the difference? Any unrelated side effects when switching from one to the other? Other hidden dangers?

They are both SSRI antidepressants, some doctors will have you taper off of one, when switching to another, but most people can switch without any problems.

Side effects of usage are also the same: nausea, drowsiness, headache and dry mouth.


Thus, there is no real difference between the drug classes, just sometimes one works better for someone than another.
