Citalopram Pill Appearance

I got a temporary citalopram script from CVS and the pills were white. Then I received another script from express scripts & the pills are pink. Why the difference?

The color is actually irrelevant and is entirely up to the manufacturer's whit and whim. Since this is a generic medication, it is manufactured by several different companies, so the color, shape, size and markings may vary.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and weight changes.
