I have been on Cipro for 11 days and my knuckles and fingers seem swollen...I am also experiencing clear vaginal discharge which causes itching and irritation. Are these normal side effects? I only have to take one more day of the Cipro.

Elizabeth, I would check with your prescribing doctor regarding the swollen fingers/knuckles since you've been on Cipro. The FDA has issued a black box warning for fluoroquinolones (which cipro belongs to) which can cause tendonitis,joint problems,etc. I experienced tendonitis myself. Good luck.

They discharge and itching and irritation sounds to me like a yeast infection caused by taking antibiotics. Eating yogurt a lot of times will help When starting any antibiotic. But to be certain you should talk to your doctor
