Cholestyramine For Itching

I have chronic itching due liver disease. My dr. said that taking cholestyramine may help. Can you offer any insight

Hello, Viktoria! How are you doing? I'm very sorry about your health issues.

Cholestyramine helps remove bile acids from the body and in many case where someone has a liver problem, the symptoms they experience such as the itching, are due to it not being properly processed out, anymore. So yes, it may help you, others have had success with it.
