Chanix Help

ok so i am on chanix about 2 and a half months now it took me about a month to get to one a day and i am still smoking 2 aday does anyone else have this problem i need help now how do i get rid of the 2 cigarettes a day in the morning i take 2 drags put it out and a couple hours later i feel the need to do this again and so on turns into 2 cigarettes a day can't seem to get rid of them 2 i just tell myself it better than the whole pack but i am almost offff of chanix and i am scared i will go back to smoking full force any idea pleaseeee

Do you feel that you "Have to" have it bad? Or more like, oh it'd be nice right about now...?

Have you discussed it with your doctor?

It does appear the Chantix has helped you, but you may need to take it for a little longer and/or use sheer willpower to stop smoking those last few cigarettes.

I know it is isn't easy, it's actually usually one of the hardest addictions to beat.

sorry got lost and found my way back yes it is def a craving gotta have it now even if i put it offff for 15 mins i gotta have it then toooo

Just do it! One" puff" let alone one cigarette a day is going to perpetuate your physical addiction. The pill is not magical.....you do have to use SOME willpower to get you throught the first 3 days. Once you have purged your body of the nicotine, you can start dealing with the psychological addiction. I recommend reading Allen Carr's book so that you can better understand your addiction. I won't say good luck because luck has nothing to do with your quit. You are in control. You have the power. No outside influence is going to make you smoke once you realize what power you actually have. I wish you well in your endeavour to live a smoke free life.

Just keep trying to get rid of the two cigs i took a couple of drags put it out. Don't give up
