What is the definition of word CHAD for determining need for blood thinners in adults with atrial fibrillation?

This test helps your doctor determine your risk of stroke due to a-fib, the higher the score, the greater the risk, thus the need for blood thinners to try to prevent a stroke, as defined by the NIH.

The newer ones are more in-depth and take several factors into account, before assigning someone a score.
