If you hvae high blood pressure can you take these two meds at the same time? Or will it cause your blood pressure to go up?

It actually has nothing to do with using the medications together, they aren't known to cause any interactions.

The problem stems from the fact that the Cetirizine is an antihistamine and they, by their very nature, can raise blood pressure.

Have you discussed it with your doctor?

Its really going to depend on your blood pressure levels and how dangerous it might be for you to use an antihistamine.

If your blood pressure is staying at a normal level, so the elevation it may cause won't put you in any danger, your doctor might decide that it is safe for you to take it.

However, I know when mine was still somewhat high, they restricted me to only using Bendaryl/Diphenhydramine for allergies and nothing else.

I had an allergic reeaction and my face is swollen from steroids injected. It's been 10 days since now just taking centirizine and my face is joint down. I a blood pressure patient and doing well with DIvan and amiiodipine. My hands are swollen so doctor just prescribed hydrochlorothiazid 12.5. All drugs okay to interact ?
