Can cephalexin 500mg cap be used for sore throat.

Cephalexin is an antibiotic that's used to treat various types of bacterial infections, so it will only help, if a sore throat is due to an infection of some type.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
