Hi Flonnie,
Based on my research Cephalexin is actually regarded as one of the recommended drugs for treating Cellulitis in it's early stages.
From what I could gather, the usual adult dose of Cephalexin (in the treatment of Cellulitis), is 500mgs orally every 6 hours, for up to 7-10 days.
Depending on how severe each individual case is, other more powerful antibiotics may also be recommended, such as Vancomycin, Daptomycin, or Linezolid.
