Hello, Dianne! How are you?
It shouldn't, unless its far too high of a dose for the person, or they are having a bad reaction to it. I'd suggest the person experiencing such see their doctor immediately to get too the root of the problem. Slurred speech could be the sign of a serious medication condition, such as a stroke.
The typical side effects for Celexa, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, weight changes and dry mouth.
Is there anything else I can help with?
