I was prescribed this for a sinus infection. First of all u cant take this with probenicid. I am also allergic to penicillin. after three days taking ceftin 500mg twice a day. My entire body was aching and joints are hurting. The pharmacy didn't even catch this.

It isn't that they can't be taken together, it's just that the Cephalexin may increase the effect of the Probenicid, so it must be prescribed cautiously. The body aches can happen with most antibiotics and is usually due to a combination of taking them and your body fighting the infection.
The other side effects to this antibiotic may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
However, if you are concerned about taking both, then please consult your doctor, to be sure.
