Causes Of Pimples On My Face When Nearing Menses

my wife has pimples on the face and they increase towards her menstrual period.
how can this be sorted

That is normal and is usually caused by the hormone fluctuations that occur towards the time of menses.

However, if they are very bad, she could consult a doctor, they can sometimes prescribe an oral contraceptive that can help balance her hormones and prevent them from occurring.

The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, spotting and PMS-like symptoms.
