Can Zertalin Be Replaced For Clindamycin

I lost my bottle of Clindamycin. Can I start taking Zertalin in replace of Clindamycin?

Zertralin contains the active ingredient Azithromycin, which is a similar antibiotic that is used to treat bacterial infections and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

However, it might not be the best antibiotic to treat your current infection. Antibiotics aren't a controlled substance, so your doctor should be able to replace it, if you inform them of what happened.
