Can You Take Hydrocodone Every 3 Hours (Top voted first)

Have kidney stone and was prescribed Hydro/Apap 5-325. Says to take 1 tablet every six hours. Took half a tablet four hours ago because a whole tablet was making me sick and dizzy. Half a tablet is doing nothing at this point, so can I take tylenol after four hours or do I have to wait until six hours?

Can I you take zolnoks 10mg half tab every 6 hours throughout the day and night? My mother who is 71 years old had a knee replacement and zolnoks seem to help taken with pain medicine, senaleve.

Hello, Calchandl! How are you? Sorry about the kidney stone, I had one last year and they are very painful.

Nausea and dizziness can be normal side effect of narcotic analgesics, such as this. Have you tried taking them with food? That might help prevent the nausea, while enabling you to take a whole one and get better pain relief.

But no, you should not take additional Tylenol, with this, since it contains Acetaminophen with the Hydrocodone.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Linda, Zolnox contains the active ingredient Zolpidem, it is used to treat insomnia and shouldn't be taken, if it hasn't been prescribed for you. Combining with a pain reliever could be risky, since it can cause depression of the central nervous system, if yours goes too low, it could be fatal.

I took Norco 5/325 as prescribed for an infected tooth. My question is, can I take two Tylenol 500 mg four hours after the one Norco tablet? I would prefer to just take the Tylenol and no further Norco.
