Can You Take Dilaudid And Tylenol 3

16 hours post op. Wondering if I can safely take dilaudid and Tylenol 3's. Not at the same time but every 3 hours or so as both are prescribed every 4-6 hours. For example, a dilaudid at noon a t3 at 3:00 pm another dilaudid at 6pm and so on.

Yes, you can do that, as long as your doctor approaches, you'd just be staggering when you take each one.

The FDA classifies Dilaudid as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
