UpdatedI had 1000mg erythromycin at the ER in the am and when I went to get it filled the cost was to high. So they called In z pack. Is it normal to change to different ones and in the same day?

Hello, Lisa! How are you?
Yes, there's no harm in it and you can just start taking the new medication as prescribed. Sometimes, they are even prescribed together in cases of severe infections.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
Is there anything else I can help with?
