Can You Swallow Minastrin 24 Fe

I have been taking Minastrin 24 fe for two months and was swallowing the pill. but I just read on the pack that it's supposed to be chewed? is it still effective if I have been swallowing them?

Yes, that should still be fine. Chewing them just helps you absorb it faster than swallowing, but they will still work.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of oral contraceptives as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and PMS-like symptoms.

Have you talked to your doctor about it? It may be okay for you to continue swallowing them whole.
