Can You Drink Alcohol While Taking Nitrofur Macr

Can I drink wine while taking this antibiotic? I have to take it for 5 days, if not can I drink on day 6 or later on day 5?

It is generally best to avoid alcohol while taking a prescription medication, because it can cause aggravation of the side effects, so you may experience more nausea, dizziness and drowsiness than usual. Basically one drink could end up being the same as drinking 2 or 3 and etc.
