Can pot cl micro pills be cut in half? Having a hard time swallowing them.

No, these tablets cannot be cut, crushed or broken. Potassium is very, very harsh on the stomach, actually the entire GI tract, so they are specially coated and made to be time released, so it doesn't all hit, at once. Cutting, crushing or breaking them could cause serious GI injuries, which may include gastritis and ulcers.

Due to this, the FDA also recommends that they be taken with food and not on an empty stomach.
