Can Xarelto Be Cut In Half
UpdatedMy Dr. said I can cut 20mg of xarelto in half in order to help wean me off of them. My question is, is this okay to do?

It is always best to follow your doctor's instructions.
The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising.
Are you on any other medications?
My doc prescribed 20mg xarelto. I have 15mg on hand. Can I cut one to add to 15mg to make 20mg?
