Can We Use Met Xl 50 Instead Of Er

I am using met er 50 mg tablets for 4 years, now the pharmasist gave me met xl 50 mg tablets, can I use the same in place of met er 50? Please advice.

Yes, they are the same, they both contain Metoprolol in a time released formulation.

Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain.

Is there anything else I can help with?
