Can Urinary Tract Infection Be Treated During Pregnancy

i have a urinary tract infection olso experiencing a swelling and pain in my bladder and m four months pregnant the doctor has give me amoxyl and doxytet tablets and its not helping what do you suggest i do now coz hes now sending me for an ultrasound exam will it help m scared all this might put child into a high risk please help.

The infection is far more risky to your baby than any of the treatments, additionally, an ultrasound doesn't carry any risk.

How long have you been taking the antibiotics?

The U.S. FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
