Can U Take Naloxone With Methadone

I am on methadone and I've got an abscess in my mouth. It's killing me. Can I take targin naxolone or will it interfere with my methadone?

Targin Naloxone will not do anything to help with an abscess, it is used to prevent opiate abuse. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach pain.

An abscess will require an antibiotic, and follow up dental treatment to correct whatever underlying problem has caused the infection.
