Why in the world would someone with a limited hydrocodone habit of #60 5 mg. tabs for 2 months ever consider a suboxne protocol??? That level of hydrocodone wouldn't even necessitate a physical Withdrawl program would it?? Furthermore what kind of " specialist " would actually approve this?? IDK CAN SOMEONE ASSIST ME WITH THIS Many thanks

Well, while Suboxone is intended for severe, long-term addictions, it has been found that small, short-term doses of it can help people that aren't really technically considered addicted. For instance, some patients that were taking opiates for pain, who've had trouble stopping them due to withdrawal effects, have been given short-term low dose Suboxone very successfully to help stop taking them.

What may not cause one person to experience physical withdrawal could very well cause it in someone else, since we are all different.

The FDA does warn that it also carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

Is there anything else I can help with?
