Can Someone Help? Please ???

I see a dr. For chronic pain, she writes me oxycontin 80 mg. 2x a day and just increased oxycodone to 30mg and she is just a reg. Md., I believe shw is going to send me ti a pain clinic cause my meds Aren't working as they did 6 yrs. Ago. I have been ti them 3 xs Before with no help. I live outside if cola.sc any suggestions. .please?,,

Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, a pain specialist is going to be your only option, if you require such medications on a long-term, ongoing basis.

Has she offered to refer to a clinic? If so, that would actually be the quick and easy way to get the help you need.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Thank you and yes she has. My only exp. With the 2 pain clinics I have been to.. prior to her do not want to rx anything that helps... any ideas on what to do with this situation? Thank you.
