Can Quinine Tablets 12 Doses After My Pregnancy

I'm 6wks pregnant and was treated for malaria given quinine 12doses.Also drank some herbal missed with gin . Now my question is my baby safe from deformity?

Alcohol is never a good idea, while pregnant, in any amount, it could cause fetal alcohol syndrome, according to the NIH, so you need to make sure your doctor is aware that you drank something mixed with gin.

As to the use of Quinine during pregnancy, it is the recommended treatment and, according to the U.S. FDA, no risks to the baby have been proven.

Are you on any other medications?
