This is an antibiotic, which is used to treat many bacterial infections. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

However, without seeing a doctor, you can't be certain that you have pneumonia, or that it is bacterial in origin, if you do indeed have it. It could be due to aspiration or viral.

Thus, it would be best to see a doctor and get a proper diagnosis and find out what your treatment options might be.
