I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between the two, however, you should check with your doctor, before you take the Mucinex DM.

Some decongestants can elevated your blood pressure and raise heart rate, so it may not be safe for you to take it.

Coricidin has a line of products you may want to look for instead, they are labeled HBP, so you know they are safe to take, if you have high blood pressure.

Lisinopril is classified by the FDA as an ACE inhibitor and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increase urination and hypotension.

Muscinex DM contains guiafenesin (you should know its original name; I barely could pronounce it; still not sure of its spelling), an EXPECTORANT and DEXTROMETHORPHAN (d-methorphan or DM), a cough suppressant.

DISCLAIMER: Any adverse effect can occur with anyone, even if it's something REALLY off the off. I've seen apparently "normal" puts be given Halcyon 0.25-5/mg HS and react as if they took two 5mg tablets of methamphetamine HCl. Usually no predictors of this craziness until it happens!

Mucinex DM has no decongestants. It's Mucinex D that contains 120mg of Sudafed (pseudoephedrine) per tablet. DM has really no discernible effect on BP or pulse...but that might not be true if the pt were allergic to it!
