No, the Dilaudid will not likely have any effect. The Subutex tends to cling very strongly to the opiate receptors, though it is a rather weak opiate, so it leaves the others unable to have any effect.
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
