Can I Use Pur Bloka With Adco Bisocor

I am taking adco bisocor 5mg for high blood pressure. I now have palpitations and my doctor has given me pur-bloka for it. I would like to know if these two drugs are compatible?

No, these are both in the same drug family and treat the same things, so only one should be taken. Taking them together could cause a life threatening lowering of your blood pressure and heart rate, as listed by the FDA.
