This medication will only help, if your symptoms are due to an allergic reaction. The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects of antihistamines as possibly including dizziness, headache and dry mouth.
If they are due to side effects from the eye drops, then the antihistamine will not likely help. What eye drops did you use? Perhaps I can research the side effects for you.
