These shouldn't be taken together, unless your doctor has instructed you to take them both. The Doxylamine, Codeine and Dosulepin can all increase sedation, which risks lowered heart rate, lowered blood pressure and this could potentially result in a coma and be fatal.

As listed by the FDA, the Mersyndol is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
