Can I Take Percocet With Over The Counter 200mg Ibuprofen

I HAD RECTACELE SURGERY. I ALSO HAVE SEVERE BACK PROBLEMS. I TAKE 1 OXYCOD/ACETAMIN EVERY 4 HOURS AS NEEDED FOR PAIN. CAN I ALSO TAKE 1 200MG IBUPROFEN WITH IT? THE OXYCOD/ACETAMIN IS 5-325MG.

They can be taken together, as long as your doctor approves, but since the Ibuprofen can cause some blood thinning and increase your risk of bleeding, it's always best to double check with your doctor, before doing so.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
