I take 165 mgs of methadone everyday and i have gained alot of weight since. I got Lipozene to lose the weight. Is it safe to take them together??

I had the same question I asked the nurse at the clinic she really didn't know what to tell me she said lipozene speeds up ur metabolism and it might affect ur dose but honestly it didn't affect my dose and I am losing weight so yep it's safe and yep it works just don't get discouraged if u don't see it right away one day u will be like holy crap good luck

I have the same question, I asked the charge nurse at the clinic and she said "I don't know, so meds do not go all the way thru the fda so I can't answer u" now the more I look into it I have found that lipozene speeds up ur metabolism so it MIGHT affect your dose. I am on 70 right now and have asked to drop down to 50 so this should be interesting. If it affects your dose, it's been said to go up 1mg on your dose and u will be fine. I have been taking Percocet 10mg every 6 hours 1 and half but sometimes I used 1 tablet every 3 to 4 hours, since I got methodone 10mg, I tried it but is only been like 4 days its suppost to be 2 times daily but I take 1 a day once in a while I take the 2 tablets 1 day, 1 night, but with this methodone I notice I hardly want the Percocet at all so far, I think I have gone from 1 Percocet every 3 to 4hrs to maybe 2 percs a day, just wondering is this fine and if I start taking my Percocet every 6 hrs has directed by Dr the 1 and half with the 2 a day methodone will I have any health problems I been taking Percocet for more then a year I started with 1 every 6 hrs but, down the line the pain got worst so I started takng more and more Percs, some 1 please tell me if what happened with the methodone is better then the percs alone, cause reading so much about the methodone is scaring me even thought iam at very low dose and hope to stay at this dose, I have a very bad neck injury and lots of pinched nerves also back problems but by taking the methodone I don't feel pain like I did when I was only on Percocet, I tried morphines 30mg but made me sick also Oxicotin 10mg also made me sick, didn't last 1 week taking these cause of the sicknesss but the methodone is working pretty good, I been feeling better then I have in a while

Lipozene is a supplement, not an actual medication, so it has not been studied to check for possible interactions with prescription drugs.

Have you checked with your doctor? They may have some idea of whether or not it would be safe.
