Hi my husband had carpal tunnel surgery done he is taking hydrocodon with acetaminophen 5-325 2 tablets every 4 hrs can he also take Advil

They can be taken together, as long as his doctor approves.

The FDA warns that opiate medications carry the risk of being habit forming and taking it together with Advil may cause him to experience more side effects than usual, which could include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation.
