Can I Take Hydrocodone 5/325 With Naproxen 500

My husband has 2 hernia, and severe hip pain. Could be pain from 2 groin hernias make him so painful. Has hydrocodone 5 325. Can he take naperxon 500 with it.

yes he can tell him he can eat a snack with it to prevent stomach upset

Hi Sammy,

I just wanted to add from my own experience that I too have taken this combination of meds in the not so distant past, after a nose surgery. I don't recall having any issues at that time, other than typical (minor) side effects such as nausea and dizziness that is commonly associated with many medications. However I understand that everyone reacts/responds differently and that trial and error is something we all must undergo at some point in order to find out what works best. Hopefully the addition of naproxen will help. If not, maybe his doctor would be willing to prescribe something a little stronger than 5/325...(i.e 7.5/325)?
